The difference between weight-loss failure and weight-loss success.

In an article by WebMD, Colette Bouchez discusses how having a weight-loss buddy increases your weight-loss results.

Research has shown that having a buddy can be the difference between weight-loss failure and weight-loss success. Adam Shaffran, DC, author of You Can't Lose Weight Alone: The Partner Power Weight Loss Program, says, "diet buddies are just two people who share a common goal and know they can count on each other to help them achieve that goal in whatever way it takes to do that." When choosing a weight-loss buddy, make sure to choose someone you can depend on that will hold you accountable to your goals.

The Transitions Lifestyle System™ can be done in a 12-week group setting, through transitionslifestyle.com or alone with the Daily Journal. Transitions™ focuses on the glycemic index (GI) of foods. The GI is a measurement of the impact carbohydrates have on your blood sugar levels. When blood sugar rapidly rises, your insulin levels also rise, triggering a metabolic switch that signals your body to store body fat. By eating low-glycemic index foods, the body will have more energy, feel more satisfied and have fewer cravings.*
